You'll help us make health happen by:
1. Taking charge of a unit or a floor, promoting our residents' independence, choice, and dignity by ensuring that the team provides the highest standards of care at all times.
2. Assessing each resident's wellbeing with your team, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met while maintaining accurate records.
3. Delivering clinical guidance to your team, leading by example, motivating, and mentoring the team to ensure the safe, smooth, and efficient running of the care home.
4. Building lasting relationships with the residents and their families, as well as fostering a sense of community within the home.
5. Creating and developing strong relationships with local partners and liaising with them to raise the care home's profile in the local area and beyond.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
1. A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a genuine commitment to adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct and expanding your professional development.
2. Passionate about caring for others and helping people maintain their independence, choice, and dignity.
3. An effective communicator who can build strong and honest relationships with residents and their families.
4. Ready to use your clinical experience to lead, motivate, and mentor a team, effectively delegating and promoting excellent customer service.
5. A respectful and compassionate team player who believes in giving your personal best.
