We create, manufacture, and package everything on site from our rural location in Suffolk. The Stokes brand reaches the finest shops, restaurants, hotels, pubs, and delis across the Food Service and Retail sectors in the UK, as well as several key export markets.
The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Raw Material Production Planner to assist in being the mastermind behind our manufacturing magic. This includes:
1. Raising purchase orders - Liaising with suppliers, confirming/managing orders to ensure they’re on site in time for production.
2. Owning Raw Material Process, including negotiating new contracts, supplier visits – ensuring strong relationships are maintained.
3. Driving continuous improvement within purchasing/tendering process.
4. Providing annual leave cover for Production Planner.
What We’re Looking for:
1. Procurement experience within a manufacturing environment.
2. Efficient workflow management skills with the ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple tasks.
3. Strong communication skills and the ability to problem solve.
4. Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
5. People skills: You’re a team player.
