Description
6 Month Contract (2 days a week in the office)
The role is required to carry out end to end credit control, sales ledger duties and to assist with the wider administration function within the Finance department. Working closely with the Credit Control/Billing Manager and the other accountants.
Some day to day tasks will include:
1. End to end Credit Control duties using telephone/email while adhering to the company’s credit control policy.
2. Referring debt to our external debt collection agency as required.
3. Carrying out customer credit checks to minimise exposure to the business.
4. Query resolution including liaising with internal stakeholders where required.
5. Cash allocation and reconciliation.
6. Issuing statements and reminders.
7. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
8. Creating weekly debtor reports for internal departments.
9. Support with customer billing using our in-house billing software and accounts system.
10. Processing billing/service cancellations as required.
11. Raise credit requests.
12. Supporting with the Accounts inbox and Ticketing system which processes incoming requests and invoices.
13. Dealing with any general queries including updating records for address changes, contact names and any other minor queries.
We would love someone with:
1. Experience of Credit Control (at least 2 years).
2. Experience of working with accounts systems, processing transactions and dealing with queries.
3. Methodical and organised in their approach to work.
4. Ability to work remotely and be motivated with access to remote support from the team.
