The Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will: Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, delivering set lessons and ensuring students remain engaged and on task. Manage student behaviour in line with school policies, creating a positive and safe learning environment. Provide support to teachers and other school staff, assisting with planning and preparation where required. Work flexibly across a range of subjects, gaining insight into different areas of the curriculum. Foster strong relationships with students, motivating and encouraging them to achieve their best. Requirements: Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or youth-focused setting. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A genuine passion for education and a commitment to making a difference. A degree is desirable but not essential – we welcome applications from candidates with varied backgrounds and experience levels.
