At TP Tutors, we have an exciting opportunity to help young children in Medway with intervention support. This role is ideal if you have previously worked with SEN children as a teacher, teaching assistant, one to one, or through tutoring.
This intervention tutor role involves:
* Planning, creating, and teaching engaging sessions based on the child’s needs, developing their knowledge in core subjects.
* Working with children with Special Education Needs who need face-to-face support. This could include children with ASD, SEMH, or PMLD and may take place at their homes, care homes, or a local area (e.g., library) agreed upon with the parents/carers.
* Tracking progress and planning next steps.
* Inspiring children to achieve and keeping them engaged, ensuring they can access the learning.
* Implementing behaviour strategies to ensure children are focused and on task.

What are we looking for in an Intervention Tutor?
* Experience working with SEN children.
* Able to plan and deliver engaging sessions based on the needs of the learner.
* Ability to develop effective behaviour management strategies.
* Apply skills to raise children’s confidence within their learning.
* Able to track progress and plan next steps in children’s learning towards their learning outcomes.
