Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – LS6 Area (Supply)
Pay Rate is Dependent on Experience and Qualifications.
Are you a skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students' learning and development? We're looking for an experienced and adaptable HLTA to join our team on a supply basis, supporting schools across the LS6 area.
About the Role:
As a supply HLTA, you will play a vital role in the classroom, working closely with teachers to deliver planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and support the diverse needs of students from KS1 to KS2. You will engage with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, providing tailored support to ensure every pupil can reach their full potential. This role requires flexibility and a proactive approach to meet the dynamic needs of various schools.
What We’re Looking For:
* HLTA qualification (or equivalent) and prior experience in a classroom setting
* Ability to deliver pre-planned lessons, assist with lesson planning, and lead small group interventions
* Strong behaviour management skills and experience working with children with SEND
* A positive, enthusiastic attitude and the flexibility to adapt to different school environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
