The Role
The Commerce Photo Editor will be responsible for all product-based visuals and shopping galleries for the website. Candidates should have excellent technical and editorial judgement and a strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
What will you be doing?
1. Managing the daily output of commerce shopping galleries
2. Editing and resizing all product-based imagery for the website (specifically cutting-out products)
3. Assisting in the research and creation of high-quality homepage content including photography, design, collages and GIFs.
4. Working directly with editors to maintain the output and standard of digital visual content across multiple platforms.
5. Helping with Editorial Picture Research Content if needed.
6. Leading visual direction for Amazon Prime Day, Black Friday and Sleep Week etc.
7. Creating mood-boards for Photoshoots that fit with the GLAMOUR aesthetic.
8. Monitoring Freelance cover and overseeing work to ensure the images fit within the brand.
9. Budget management - monitoring buy-ins and ensuring we don't exceed our budget each month.
10. Contributing ideas to editorial and commerce brainstorms.

Who you are:
1. Relevant experience working on a digital picture desk or in a relevant field.
2. Familiarity with the GLAMOUR digital visual aesthetic and a keen interest in shopping, beauty, fashion, interiors, and travel.
3. Strong photographic and organisational skills to ensure all content meets standards for brand integrity and production quality.
4. Knowledge and experience of photographic sources, agencies, and copyright law.
5. Demonstrated experience using Adobe Photoshop and digital graphic design.
6. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work to multiple tight deadlines.
7. Ability to contribute ideas to both editorial and e-commerce brainstorms.
