Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about providing personalised care and support to our service user. By working with us as a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll be a valued member of a compassionate team dedicated to caring for a male in his 20s, in Birmingham. Our service user loves story books, enjoys listening to music and taking part in sensory activities with lights and various toys. He also loves interaction with friends and family and enjoys relaxing head massages.
He is unable to communicate verbally and will use a variety of sounds and facial expressions to indicate his wants and needs. It is important that you take time to understand his methods of communication to ensure his needs are met promptly.
Your role? To support him in his daily routines, stay attentive and responsive to his care needs and manage his clinical interventions as required. This isn't just a job – it's a chance to have a significant impact on a person's life.
Pay Rates
* £13.00 - £14.50 per hour
* Approx. £143.00 - £159.50 (per 11-hour night shift)
Shifts Available
* Part Time
* Nights – 21:00pm to 08:00am
Essential Experience
* 3 months previous care experience
* Medication administration
* Personal care
* Moving and handling
* Clear Communication
* Tracheostomy Care
