What would you do as our Business Development Manager?
As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the continued growth of the sales revenues by promoting the ASSA ABLOY portfolio of Digital Access Solutions (DAS) products. A key part of the role will be focusing on the identification and development of robust business relationships within the Door Manufacturing (timber and steel) industry. In this role, you will also work in conjunction with peers targeting the end user sectors of Higher Education accommodation and Multi-Occupancy Developers.
You would also:
1. Clearly understand the requirements of the targeted markets and develop a solutions sales approach tailored to those sectors - in this case, Door Manufacturers.
2. Work closely with parties within the targeted sectors to identify, qualify, negotiate, and close new business deals.
3. Liaise closely with the Regional Specification team and Channel Management teams to generate and deliver specifications to the targeted end user sectors.
4. Prepare and deliver sales presentations and demonstrations showing the capabilities of the products and solutions encapsulating and focusing on the needs of the specific sectors.
5. Attend and present at industry events and exhibitions.
The skills and experience you need:

1. Has strong Business Development Experience, preferably within the Door Manufacturing industry.
2. Has a good understanding of electronic security or building management products and technology solutions in the targeted sectors.
3. Has strong rapport-building and communication skills.
4. Is passionate to grow and develop our customer base.
