Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Preston

We are seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join our specialist SEN school in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is caring, patient, and committed to helping children reach their full potential.
The Role:
✅ Supporting students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and complex learning needs
✅ Assisting in delivering tailored learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher
✅ Helping to create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
✅ Providing 1:1 or small group support to enhance learning and development
✅ Supporting students with their emotional and social needs
What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Previous experience working with children with SEN (in a school or care setting)
✔️ A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children
✔️ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔️ A passion for supporting children’s learning and well-being
✔️ Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEND training) – desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
