Job Title: Electrical Contracts Manager
Location: London (and surrounding areas)
Salary: £70K + Travel Paid
The Role:
1. Responsible for all Electrical aspects of projects.
2. Overseeing multiple projects at one time which generally consists of direct & subcontract labour.
3. Responsible for effective relationship management with clients & working partners to achieve smooth operational and commercial progression of projects.
4. Making sure health, safety & welfare is maintained and adhered to at project/site level.
5. Managing projects from tender stage, through all phases until handover to the end user.
6. Ensuring that all related design information is correctly and fully audited to secure overall compliance.
7. Overseeing elements of the overall commissioning process to ensure that the installations are correctly commissioned.
8. Ensuring that complete and comprehensive records are collated and maintained covering all aspects of quality control, system/equipment testing, commissioning and equipment maintenance.
9. Working closely with the commercial management for progress reports and to ensure all commercial and contractual requirements are correctly fulfilled.
10. Attend on site meetings, as and when required.
11. Overseeing the preparation of operation & maintenance manuals.
12. Providing technical support and expertise to the internal project team.
13. Managing variation costings and control with the commercial management and main contractor.
14. Responsible for handover to clients and after care.
15. Reporting to the Director.
The Company:
1. 40+ years' experience delivering Mechanical & Electrical projects UK wide.
2. HQ based in Northern Ireland but have other offices throughout the UK.
3. Part of wider group of companies that offer full MEP/HVAC services.
4. This company always tender for the whole M&E package and work on projects up to the value of £16m (M&E).
5. The overall group of companies has an annual turnover of £20m+.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Will be a time served Electrical Contracts Manager.
2. Will have previous experience managing larger commercial projects.
3. Will hold a valid CSCS/Skill/JIB Card. Other credentials advantageous.
4. Will work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
5. Will have excellent communication skills.
6. Will have shown proven company loyalty.
7. Will be willing to travel into London regularly.
