Ideally, they will join us from the beginning of the summer term, but we are prepared to wait until September 2025 for the right candidate. We offer opportunities to teach classes from Key Stage 3 to A-level and are committed to supporting staff to develop their skills to teach across all key stages. Whilst Religious Education will be their primary subject, there should be an expectation that the successful candidate may be asked to deliver some lessons in other humanities subjects in Key Stage 3, but timetables will take into account specialisms within the team and if required, any training needs supported as appropriate. The successful applicant will be able to enthuse, engage, motivate and challenge students towards raising achievement at all levels, developing a confidence and love of their subject within the young people they teach. They will be committed to continually improving and developing their teaching and learning practice when working alongside colleagues within a supportive department and school team. Together, they will role model high standards and expectations and continue to improve outcomes within their subject to improve the life chances of the young people in their care.
