We have an exciting opportunity for two motivated individuals to join our team, as Operational Co-ordinator's, within the Imaging Business Unit.
The Operational Co-ordinator is a key member of the Imaging Business Unit and responsible for the day to day operational running of the Imaging administrative teams, across multiple modalities, to facilitate the smooth and efficient running of our admin service.
The Operational Co-ordinator will take full responsibility for day to day line management of the Team Leaders. You will also be responsible for providing leadership to the administrative teams, ensuring a high quality, comprehensive and efficient administrative service is delivered, within your respective areas.
The successful post holders will work to support in achieving the Business Units projects, working closely with the Service Co-ordinator, Service Manager and wider Business Unit leadership team.
Working to develop the service, and encourage others to be innovative and adaptable in their approach to change. You will implement programmes of process improvement and be consistent with service strategy.
There will also be a financial budgetary responsibility in this role. This post is full time, across UHDB sites and will include some opportunity to work from home.
Your main duties will include managing the Team Leaders within our administrative teams, cross site. Providing operational support to our clinical colleagues and services, alongside other Operational Co-ordinator colleagues. Working closely with the Business Units senior leadership team, to assist in service development and working to achieve local and national targets.
The post holder will lead on HR processes, including grievance and discipline, manage appraisals and act as an appointment panel member working closely with recruitment and Divisional Finance.
You will ensure that appropriate training is delivered to staff, reviewing work performance and progress as well as having a budgetary responsibility.
You will be responsible for ensuring that your team are adhering to the most suitable and efficient pathways.
You will have experience in managing and leading a team, to support, motivate and foster a positive and productive work environment.
