Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Full Time)

Salary: £17,000 - £19,000 per annum

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic secondary school in Eastleigh on a full-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students across Key Stages 3 and 4, providing tailored support to enhance their learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
* Support classroom teachers in delivering differentiated lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student engagement and confidence.
* Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as necessary.
* Collaborate with the school's SEN department to develop effective support strategies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or young adults with SEN is desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting student development.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are advantageous but not essential.
