We have an awesome opportunity for a Support Worker to join us at our Harpenden area.
The role is to work with the client in their own home and in the local community, enabling them to take part in daily and weekly social activities.
You will also be responsible for all support with planning and organising activities and structuring day-to-day life.
This position requires that you work and liaise closely with the client’s partner. The position therefore requires that you work and conduct yourself in a manner that is acceptable to the employer.

What you'll be working:
~ 12 hours per week over 2 x 6-hour shifts (preferably Mon + Thurs)
~ With flexibility to work additional hours if needed.
~ Any overtime will be at the discretion of the team leader and authorised by the Case Manager.
Salary:
~ Weekdays - £15.50, Weekends - £15.50
What you'll be doing:
1. To assist in making available a wide range of activities to the client, to enable the client’s integration into the local community.
2. Participate in external training and development activities as required.
3. To provide support both at home and when out in the community.
4. Comply with all the employers’ procedures including financial, human resource, and health and safety.
Administrative Responsibilities
1. To liaise and keep the Associate Case Manager and Case Manager informed of all progress and any other matters of relevance.
2. To be available for regular supervision with the Associate Case Manager and Case Manager.
3. To complete online and attend training in relevant areas.
4. To develop and maintain effective communication, with the client, family, case manager, and other relevant agencies.
5. To complete detailed and accurate support worker notes.
6. Complete accurate time sheets which will need to be submitted in a timely manner.
What you'll have:
ESSENTIALS
1. Full Clean Driving Licence and experience of driving automatic cars.
2. Must be 25 years or older due to the Motability insurance.
3. At least 1 year of working with people with traumatic brain injury/disabilities.
4. Working as part of a team.
