Deputy Headteacher - Stoke-on-Trent
Salary - Up to £55,000
We are collaborating with a Small Specialist School to recruit a Deputy Headteacher. In this role, you will actively contribute to the school leadership team, leading with clear values and focus on delivering outstanding education for all pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Headteacher in both strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school.
* Represent and deputise for the Headteacher - overseeing operations in their absence.
* Drive high standards and oversee curriculum development, monitoring pupil progress, and ensuring excellence across the board.
* Manage staff and resources effectively to support the school’s goals.
* Play a major role in developing, implementing, and reviewing the School Development Plan.
* Serve as the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
What We’re Looking For:
* A proven track record of senior leadership (Ideally within Specialist settings)
* In-depth knowledge of the OFSTED framework
* Strong leadership skills in safeguarding, curriculum planning, and staff management.
* Expertise in behavior management, with the ability to maintain high standards across the school.
