Title: Procurement Manager
Location: Swindon, hybrid working pattern
Salary & Package: £60,000 - £70,000 + free travel + benefits
I am delighted to be partnering with a key client of mine who are one of the largest operators in their field and have a strong track record to suit. As a result of some movement in the business, they are now looking to appoint a Procurement Manager to join their well established, best in class procurement function.
The role sits in a busy procurement team, who are really hands on in their work. Procurement is a critical function within the business and have a real buy in from the stakeholders within the business. They are looking for commercially minded procurement professional, who is going to manage key indirect projects (IT, Marketing etc), as well as managing a small team. Role & Responsibilities
* Report directly into the Head of Procurement
* Lead and support a team of three Procurement Officers, supporting them with their progression and development
* End to end procurement, implementing effective sourcing strategies to maximise through life value for money
* Ensure all procurement is compliant with UCR / PCR regulations
* Support Supplier Relationship Management activities in driving efficiencies and benefits
* Lead complex commercial negotiations for both new requirements and contract renewals
Experience & Requirements
* Experience working in a large business, managing relative sized contracts and spend
* Will need to demonstrate experience within the public regulations (UCR / PCR)
* Ideally will have experience within indirect procurement, such as Marketing, IT, and Corporate Services
* MCIPS / relevant education would be beneficial but not essential
