If you're looking for a role where you can develop your skills within a dynamic, international company, this is your opportunity As a Quality Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that supplier components meet our stringent quality standards and specifications. You will proactively identify deviations, assess their impact on production, and implement corrective and preventive measures. Working independently within our Quality team, you'll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to uphold and improve our quality assurance processes. What you will bring to the role: Checking supplier measurement and release reports on correct- and completeness Assessing incoming parts/components for quality and dimensions (risk based) Release of new products / new components Handling complaints and quality problems towards suppliers (8D) Managing work instructions for receiving components of good quality Occasionally performing (process) audits at suppliers Initiating, implementing and guiding quality improvements (such as process control, new Q-tools, Lessons Learned, etc.) You carry out analyses and optimize the work and the process where possible, you do this both independently and together with your team and colleagues outside your team. You take care of the associated administration About you: Hands-on approach with a problem-solving mindset Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge and experience with quality systems and methods, such as Structured Problem Solving (8D), AQL, First Article Inspection, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, Process Capability, and ISO 9001 Experience working with measuring equipment (e.g., Keyence) or a willingness to learn Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively in a team environment Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement Adaptable and driven to achieve goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) Detail-oriented with the ability to work patiently and accurately Strong analytical skills to assess and resolve quality issues 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience Preferred Qualifications: University degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field Hands-on experience developed in a similar role Additional language skills (spoken and written) Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles Why you should join Malvern Panalytical: Be a part of an ambitious, fast-growing, international company with a friendly and inclusive culture.
