About the job We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Service Transition and Delivery Manager to join our existing experienced team. What do we look for in a Service Transition and Delivery Manager? This is a hybrid role working alongside our service community within SiXworks, it is a daytime position supporting 24/7 teams. Part time applicants are welcome as there is the ability to scale this role to suit. Due to the nature of this role, you must be a UK sole national and either have, or be eligible to obtain Security Clearance Experience of ITIL service management, IT4IT and/or UK Defence Standards required. This role will require that you have experience and knowledge to carry out the following responsibilities: Oversee the transition of projects into managed service within the SiXworks Gate process, proactively supporting handover from project managers. Ability to plan and manage shift patterns for the 24/7 delivery team Ideally have experience of Security Operations Propose the planning, execution, and optimization of IT services to meet business objectives and customer expectations. Proactively identify and address potential service disruptions to minimize their impact on the business. Continually assess performance improvements with a view to delivering value for money to our customers. Be metric driven, focused on performance excellence and used to working with KPIs & SLAs. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand service needs and ensure alignment with key risks, issues, dependencies and trade-offs which impact the Service delivery/outcomes. Communicate the Services’ key benefits and features to the relevant audiences as part of regular good governance and feedback gathering. Ensure you are gathering timely Service feedback and be accountable for ensuring overall measurement of success is embedded into regular rituals, including customer meetings, user meetings and test regimes. Continuously evaluate and improve the service delivery process to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
