Description JOB TITLE : Quality Assurance Assessor LOCATION : Fareham, Delta Park (occasional travel to our Mount Park site in Southampton) WORKING HOURS : 37.5 hours per week B shift Monday to Friday - 1 week (6am to 2pm) following week (2pm to 10pm) – 5 days a week onsite What will you be doing: We have an exciting internal opportunity for a Quality Assurance Assessor to join our Quality Assurance Team. This is a great role where you will be developing and implementing quality assurance policies, conducting tests and inspections, identifying production, process, or product issues, and presenting solutions. You will work as part of the team to monitor all areas of the Company's Quality System to ensure employees are working according to documented procedures and requirements as well as continuous improvement and implementation or existing or new procedures, processes or systems. Essential responsibilities: Performance of Process Audits, working mainly in a packaging and distribution environment on a continuous rolling basis checking: Compliance to documented procedures / requirements ,documentation is relevant and correct, changes or deviations to products, processes or procedures are not made without authorisation and maintaining GMP awareness within Delta Park & Mount Park and ensuring compliance to documented procedures Undertake assessments in conjunction with the QA Coordinator/Engineer to develop an understanding of critical activities and identify potential problem areas within Mount Park. Record QA findings / observations, discuss and make recommendations to appropriate personnel / QA management Audit release and physical release of product To perform trend analysis on Agile processes and data obtained during auditing Assisting in the validation of new products, processes and components Responsibility for quality issues with cross functional coordination requirements Lead or participate in multi-discipline teams engaged in quality projects and / or investigations Any other duties as directed by QA Management What are we looking for? We would ideally like you to have the following: One years quality assurance experience and/or two years’ experience of working in the contact lens industry (manufacturing or distribution centre). An understanding of Quality Assurance. Ability to work alone or as part of a team. Experience of using an eQMS. Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Outlook). Strong communication skills both verbally and written Report writing. Be flexible and have own transport as occasional travel to other sites on occasion.
