Government & Public Sector aligned within a management consulting firm
Our client, a management consulting firm are seeking a dynamic Director / Senior Director professional to lead Government & Public Sector initiatives across the UK consulting group. This is a key senior position aimed at driving growth and increasing revenue, supported by strategic investment from the leadership team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales-oriented mentality and consulting experience, with a focus on workforce/organisation/change management, capability development, and transformation management aligned to Public Sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Business Development: Focus on account leadership, business expansion, and solution delivery within the Government & Public Sector, creating long-term success for clients.
* Strategic Growth: Identify and nurture new engagement opportunities, developing targeted account strategies for new client acquisition and grow of exisiting client accounts.
* Creative Solutions: Leverage unique perspectives to tackle complex client challenges and develop innovative solutions.
* Relationship Management: Build authentic relationships with clients' executive teams to manage overall partnerships effectively.
* Team Leadership: Lead consultants on projects, serving as a formal career coach and fostering high-performing teams.
* Thought Leadership: Establish yourself as a thought leader in the Government & Public Sector through professional networking and community engagement.
What You Will Need:
* Proven management consulting experience, particularly within Government & Public Sector.
* Proven management consulting experience from the likes of Big 4 or similar notable consulting firms.
* Proven domain capability experience within workforce/people advisory/organisation change/target operating model/change management is a key requirement.
* Demonstrated success in driving client account growth and business expansion.
* Experience in proposal development and effectively selling business solutions.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus and collaboration.
* A creative problem-solver capable of designing effective solutions to complex challenges.
