Job summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised individual with good people skills to join the Oldham Community Tissue Viability and Lymphoedema Service, which delivers health care to patients with complex wound care needs and provides management and guidance to individuals who have from chronic oedema. Unfortunately, this role does not meet the criteria required to qualify for sponsorship. Main duties of the job Assist specialist nurses to deliver care in clinic setting or within patients own homes. Provide basic woundcare Support with patient and carer education Undertake routine administration tasks Undertake routine administration tasks including ordering of stock,keeping work environment and stock room tidy,follow up referrals and contacting patients re scheduled appointments in order to reduce DNA rates Support with patient and carer education and provide basic wound care Ordering and checking of specialist pressure relieving mattresses and accessories Monitor NPWT usage requesting, activating and cancelling therapy units as required Supporting team with routine day to day tasks, including actioning messages, team and own diary management Undertake patient observations, and recognise the need for escalation as indicated About us The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust (NCA) provides hospital and integrated health and social care services to over one million people living across Greater Manchester.
