6 MONTHS INITIALLY Technical Skills:
Essential: Red Hat support and maintenance.
Red Hat upgrades using Satellite .
VMware ESXi (8.x), vCentre.
Linux experience (RHEL)
Management of VMware datastores and LUNs.
Microsoft Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022) administration.
Azure AD/SSO integration, Exchange Online, Teams, Office 365 administration.
Scripting capabilities (PowerShell or equivalent).
Preferred: Veeam backup/restore platform.
AWS EKS and Amazon Linux Imaging.
VMware vRealize
VMware NSX-T.
Automated job scheduling and managed file transfer.
Main Responsibilities:
Maintain service availability through proactive infrastructure management and rapid response to alerts.
Enhance IT services through project delivery, BAU tasks, and initiatives.
Manage infrastructure capacity with regular housekeeping, monitoring, and forecasting.
Monitor job schedules, including automated file transfers and centralized backups.
Provide on-premise operational support within a team rota.
Maintain infrastructure components through upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
Accountabilities:
Foster a Service First Culture to enhance customer and employee satisfaction.
Build collaborative relationships with IT and business partners.
Proactively monitor system health and respond to incidents promptly.
Follow Incident and Change Management processes.
Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Maintain operational documentation and ensure data security and integrity.
Automate processes to reduce manual tasks and costs.
