Come and join the DBS community today Job description The Armed Forces and Veterans Services (AFVS) are responsible for the delivery of payroll, pensions, welfare and compensation services to over 180,000 regular and reserve personnel and 1 million veterans and their families. The AFVS Development and Change Analytics team provide Management Information on Military and Veteran Human Resources for Front Line Commands and Other Government Departments for business intelligence that support military operations, enquiries and investment decisions. Analytics is provided from a MI Reporting Platform Database (RPD), currently Oracle Analytical Server Information System (OASIS), linked to other databases across the DBS data estate which is supported by a small team of OASIS developer engineers. As a Senior Product Manager, you will work closely with the Analytics MI Manager and DevOps Lead and our Commercial Partners to manage multiple products that supports upgrades, customer change requests and other improvements to the OASIS RPD. At this role level, you will line manage staff supporting product management, have expert product management skills, potentially be involved in elements of programme management activity and be involved in staff recruiting and hiring of contractors.
