Reporting into the Head of Quality and working as part of a small, friendly team, within a fast-paced environment, you will use various inspection methods to ensure products meet customer requirements. The key responsibilities for your new role as Quality Inspector are as follows: Inspecting finished products to meet customer specifications. Inspection of intermediate product, ensuring correct specification is met. Compilation of quality reports, where required. Automated inspection cell. Setting and running part marking processes. Working within other areas of the Quality department, as and when required. My client is keen to find someone, who is ideally from a fast-moving engineering or manufacturing background, with experience of working with a variety of inspection equipment. Regardless of previous expertise, you will have a methodical approach to your work, excellent attention to detail and be a great team player. In return, my client is offering an excellent salary of £22,687 - £26,850. The role operates on a rotating shift pattern of earlies and lates and you will receive an additional 20% shift premium when working a late shift. The working hours are as follows: Morning shift Monday – Thursday 6am – 1.35pm. Friday 6am – 12.45pm. Late shift (20% shift premium) Monday to Thursday 1.25pm – 9.05pm. Friday 12.35pm – 7pm.
