We have a greatopportunity for an enthusiastic, committed, and professional Civilian DentalPractitioner (CDP) to join our Primary Health Care team here at dental centre Bulford,Ward Barracks, Bulford Camp, Wiltshire, SP4 9AD.
This is a full time position consisting of 37 hours per week. Requests towork part-time (job share) will be considered, taking into accounts businessneeds, and the salary will be pro-rata where part-time hours are undertaken.

Main duties of the job
Overall, youraim is to maximise the deployability of the Population at Risk for whom you areresponsible.
A CDP isresponsible for providing clinical outputs, improving, and managing the dentalhealth and operational fitness of service personnel.
Within yourcontracted 37 weekly hours, 2 hours may be attributed to nonclinical activitiesincluding practice meetings, training, and personal administration. The remainder of the contracted hoursare to be utilised to provide clinical outputs and work will be directedtowards improving and maintaining the dental health and operational fitness ofpersonnel for whom you are responsible.
This role also attracts an on-call allowance and GDC Annual Fees are currently reimbursed. Please be advised that the Department is conducting a review of all pay related allowances which could impact on those allowances that the post currently being advertised attracts.

The duties and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
8. Inspecting all personnel for whom you for are responsible at intervals in accordance with The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence guidelines and providing follow up treatment as required.
9. Ensuring that surgery management, documentation including consumable stores, the safe custody of personal sensitive data and the maintenance of equipment is kept to a high standard at all times.
10. Working collaboratively with professional colleagues and in the best interests of patients.
11. Onward referral of personnel to enhanced practitioners, specialists, or consultants for treatment as appropriate.
