We’re hiring for a Business Management Senior Associate

We are recruiting for a Business Management Senior Associate to take responsibility for their workload and work closely with both senior and junior members of the team. As the team and business continue to grow, the role offers a unique opportunity for the candidate to expand on their wider account’s knowledge, with the potential to become involved with more complex advisory projects.
Overview of duties
* Assisting on the management of a small portfolio of clients and ensuring their bookkeeping, management reporting, statutory accounts, and any ad-hoc tasks are prepared to a high standard and on a timely basis.
* Preparation of management accounts and reports.
* Preparation of statutory financial statements.
* Working with the client managers to understand the client’s requirements and identifying areas where more detailed advice may be required.
* Identify opportunities for any additional services that clients may need and liaise with subject specialists.
* Supporting junior members of staff with their role, especially with more complex compliance requirements.
* Review of work completed by junior members of staff, including but not limited to bookkeeping, management reporting, statutory accounts, VAT returns, etc.
* Preparation of billing proposals.
* Involvement in reviewing contracts, withholding and cross-border tax issues.
* Liaising with suppliers, agents, and other client contacts.
Person specification
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
* Self-motivated and able to apply relevant skills to new scenarios.
* Good people and communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and focus.
* Ability to work within a team and to complete tasks independently.
Education / and or Experience:
* Minimum of 3-5 years experience in preparing statutory financial statements (FRS 105, FRS 102 1a, and FRS 102).
* ICAEW/ ACCA (or equivalent) qualified or qualified by experience.
* Committed to maintaining technical knowledge to a high level.
* Competent using MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 Hours
