Process Engineer, NPI Electronic device Manufacture
My client is looking for a Senior Production Process Design Engineer to join their Process Engineering team to work on how to take miniature, precision Electronic components from prototype to mass production.
You will work on the development, configuration, and optimisation of production processes from concept to start-up, certification, and improvement.
You will have:
1. Production process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
2. Understanding of the creation and deployment of process control techniques.
3. T.M.S or M.T.M. certification.
4. CAD or AutoCAD skills.
5. Familiarity with modern process manufacturing ideas.
6. Manufacturing environment project management experience.
7. Experience in researched process improvement or design.
The role will involve:
1. Developing best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
2. Developing and improving manufacturing processes and quality control measures.
3. Proactively managing continuous improvement of the plant and process to ensure cost, quality, and output targets are achieved.
4. Actively supporting and running continuous improvement activities in the manufacturing area.
5. Introducing new products or processes into production through in-depth involvement with PLM to ensure they are robust and repeatable.
6. Maintaining and striving to improve housekeeping standards through the use of the 5S approach.
