Empowered Personnel is currently recruiting a dedicated and ambitious, analytically minded Accounts Administrator to join our client based in CV2, Coventry. In this role, you will work closely with the Finance Director and the wider Directorship Team to ensure the companys financial health and drive operational efficiency. You will be responsible for day-to-day financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, and reporting, while also playing a key role in strategic financial analysis and planning. This position offers the opportunity to engage with multiple departments and collaborate with like-minded management and directorship personnel to achieve the companys organisational goals. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Accounting: Provide support with management accounts and cash flow monitoring. Financial Planning: Assist in the analysis and development of strategies to increase profit margins and operational efficiency. Financial Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial and business records. Budgeting: Aid in the creation of cost centre and departmental budgets and ensure adherence. Invoicing: Manage customer and supplier invoicing, including issuing, checking, and resolving queries. Payroll: Handle activities related to employee wages/salaries and supplier payments. Credit Control: Monitor 30 40 key customer debtor days and follow up on overdue accounts. Reporting: Conduct KPI analysis on financial and sales performance to support decision-making. Stock Control: Support stock purchase, usage, and administration to optimize inventory management. General Administration: Assist with order processing, switchboard cover, and visitor management as needed. Departmental Support: Liaise with other departments on crossover activities to ensure smooth operations. Skills / Experience Required: Prior experience as an Accounts Administrator or Accounts Assistant is required to be considered for this position Expertise in using Sage 50 accounting software. Proficient in using MS Office Package Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Excellent time management abilities. Initiative to work independently and collaboratively within a small team environment. A positive and adaptable attitude, particularly under pressure.
