Your field of work includes:
Your activities include the main processing as well as planning the need for protection and securing the critical network infrastructure of the Berlin Fire Department.
Your tasks will include:
* Planning, setting up, optimizing and documenting firewall systems
* Troubleshooting during operation
* Analysis and evaluation of software and hardware as well as Internet services, especially with regard to IT security aspects
* Monitoring the work of external companies
* Carrying out procurements and tenders

* other employees who have worked for at least 3 years in various information and communication technology areas with planning and operation of firewalls, especially in use at companies, on the basis of demonstrable, equivalent skills and experience
Further formal requirements:
* Willingness to undergo continuous further training is necessary in order to adapt specialist knowledge to the constant progress of IT and communication technology.
* Practical knowledge in dealing with firewall appliances
* Knowledge of the most common Windows and Office applications
* Knowledge of English to understand manufacturer-specific documentation
* Consent to the safety check
