As we enter an ambitious phase of development, including major infrastructure improvements, commercial venue enhancements, and new residential construction, we’re looking for a dynamic and hands-on Project Manager to join our team. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead and coordinate multiple expansion projects on site. This is a key role that will involve managing construction teams, overseeing a range of trades, liaising with consultants, and ensuring the timely delivery of projects to budget and quality standards. From ordering materials to driving project timelines, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is passionate about delivering excellence. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and expertise in hospitality or resort construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution Oversee and coordinate multiple construction and infrastructure projects across the Taymouth Marina site. Manage and coordinate various subcontractors and trades to ensure efficient and high-quality work. ·Lead the planning, design, and execution of large-scale resort development projects, including new construction, renovations and expansions. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and health & safety compliance. Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, permits, and progress reports. Monitor project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and any delays are proactively managed. Help push projects forward, anticipate obstacles, and proactively find solutions to keep momentum. Stakeholder Management Provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders on project status, challenges, and solutions. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure project specifications are met. Provide regular status updates, including financial forecasts and milestone tracking. Oversee permitting, inspections, and compliance with local regulations and environmental standards. Act as the primary liaison between the senior leadership, external stakeholders, contractors, and relevant authorities where appropriate. Facilitate regular progress meetings and provide updates to senior leadership. Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project expenditures, ensuring adherence to approved budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety. Review and approve contractor invoices, change orders, and procurement contracts. Ensure procurement and ordering of materials is timely, cost-effective, and aligned with project needs. Manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure value engineering and cost control are applied throughout. Proven experience in managing construction and infrastructure projects, preferably within mixed-use or hospitality environments. Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple contractors and stakeholders. A background in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field. Ability to interpret plans, technical drawings, and specifications. Skilled in budgeting, procurement, and project scheduling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Hands-on approach and willingness to be on-site, actively engaging with teams. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to Taymouth Marina site regularly. : Experience in residential development and/or hospitality construction. Preference for those with a joinery background, but not essential. Knowledge of Scottish building regulations and planning processes.
