We are looking for a full time Drainage and Plumbing Engineer to join our growing team of engineers. You’ll be working across a large number of our commercial client sites across the Northwest, the North Midlands, North Wales and surrounding areas. This is a fully remote role and requires a full UK driving licence. This role will support the effective, efficient, and safe delivery of our client services by attending client sites to conduct planned and reactive maintenance. The ideal candidate will have the following: Previous experience in reactive drainage plumbing work. Proven experience in both underground and above-ground drainage systems. Skilled in unblocking drains and operating high-pressure water jetting equipment. Proficient in using drainage CCTV camera’s (ie solo pro’s). Plumbing knowledge and ability to handle minor plumbing tasks. Relevant certifications or competencies in drainage services are essential. Strong problem-solving skills with a client-focused approach. Thermatic Technical FM provide complete nationwide coverage, across the full spectrum of Hard FM services to large, commercial clients. Our team of mobile engineers are supported by the account teams at Head Office to provide both reactive breakdown and planned maintenance services to our clients. Skills, Experience & Qualifications: Essential: Minimum 2 years’ drainage experience Working knowledge of drainage systems Confident problem solver Excellent communication skills Sound understanding and experience of meeting Health & Safety obligations Working knowledge of unblocking drainage systems HPWJ Certification NVQ Level 2 Plumbing and Heating qualification Willingness to participate in on call rota Desirable: Manual handling First Aid Confined Space entry certified Asbestos Awareness Certified CSCS Card IPAF & PASMA Responsibilities include: Working on commercial and industrial sites carrying out reactive drainage and basic plumbing work.
