Business Support Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Business Support Officer within the Children’s Services Integrated Commissioning team. Hybrid working with office base being County Hall in Norwich.
The Integrated Commissioning Team commissions and manages a range of accommodation and support services for children, young people and families across Norfolk and contributes to service and strategic development across Children’s Services.
We are looking for a hardworking, customer focused and efficient team member. In this post you will be expected to provide wide ranging administrative support to the team including maintaining records, financial tasks including processing invoices and raising orders, monitoring and maintaining inventories.
You will coordinate the collection and collation of information, monitor data and produce reports, statistics and other management information, whilst completing the processing of documents, preparing initial drafts, arranging, attending and minuting meetings.
You will administer the planning and organisation of events, activities and training courses and making travel and accommodation booking arrangements. You will need an eye for detail, a methodical approach and an ability to work with a wide range of people. You will also need excellent customer care skills along with the ability to be adaptable and flexible across different areas of work and remain focused with repetitive tasks.
Proven experience in administration and the use of IT along with a strong teamwork approach is essential to this role.
