MK Recruit is delighted to be working on a newly created position for a Treasury Assistant to join our supply chain industry client who are based in Paisley. Please note that this is an office based role. What is on offer? · Opportunity to join a £1b turnover business with excellent opportunity for development and progression · Salary in region of £30k · Benefits including private healthcare We are looking for: An HNC (or equivalent) is advantageous but not essential. Sharp attention to detail, with a keen eye for spotting inconsistencies. Familiarity with accounting systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Ideally around 3 years experience working within a Treasury team or strong group reporting experience for cash flow Responsibilities: • Bank Reconciliations: Daily reconciling of accounts across multiple banks and currencies, including RBS and ING. • Payment Processing: Managing purchase ledger payment runs and handling cheque allocation and direct debit collections. • Forecasting: Assisting in the preparation of weekly, quarterly and annual cash flow, contributing to process improvement to ensure accuracy and responding to changes in the activities of the business. Maintaining regular communication with all departments of the business to understand their cash flow requirements. • Reporting: Compiling daily and weekly reports and contributing to financial reporting processes as required. • Inter-company Transactions: Managing recharges between the business and external or subsidiary companies. • Customer & Supplier Support: Responding to queries and ensuring our stakeholders receive a high quality of service. • Other Ad Hoc duties as required to support the business. • Cross-functional Support: Assisting with absence cover within the finance team and taking on ad hoc duties to ensure smooth operations.
