TEXO Recruitment are sourcing for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our client's finance team, based in Dundee. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations, including managing sales and purchase ledgers, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. This is a full-time, permanent role, with the opportunity for career progression.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Accounts Assistant
* Proven experience with sales and purchase ledger management
* Strong proficiency in Sage accounting software or similar systems
* A solid understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
* Strong ability to interpret financial data and produce reports
* Previous experience in a busy finance office environment is essential
General Duties:
* Manage and maintain accurate sales and purchase ledgers
* Process invoices, payments and perform bank reconciliations
* Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and quarterly reports
* Monitor and resolve any discrepancies or issues in the ledger
* Support in preparing for audits and assist in financial reporting
* Contribute to general finance office operations and administrative tasks
* Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and controls

Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break
