About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional lecturer to join our faculty team at University College Birmingham. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background and relevant industry experience in travel, tourism, and aviation.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to teach and assess students effectively. They will also be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality curriculum content, as well as contributing to the ongoing development of our courses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach and assess students on undergraduate programmes related to travel, tourism, and aviation.
* Develop and deliver high-quality curriculum content, ensuring it remains relevant and up-to-date.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of our courses, including programme reviews and updates.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment results.
Person Specification
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A Master's degree or higher in a relevant field (travel, tourism, aviation, education).
* Relevant industry experience in travel, tourism, and aviation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to teach and assess students effectively.
