Position Summary:
As a Commercial Account Handler at our business, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional service to our commercial clients. Your primary responsibility will be to support our Account Executives in managing client accounts, processing policies, and ensuring smooth communication between clients, the service teams, and our insurer partners. This position demands strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to delivering exceptional client service.
As a Commercial Account Handler you will be responsible for the following:
1. Assisting Account Executives in managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
2. Processing insurance policies, endorsements, and renewals accurately and efficiently.
3. Liaising with our client service by promptly addressing any inquiries and concerns.
4. Collaborating with underwriters to negotiate terms and coverage on behalf of clients.
5. Preparing accurate documentation and maintaining client records in compliance with regulatory standards.
6. Supporting claims management by facilitating communication between our clients and our claims departments.
7. Staying updated on industry trends, insurance products, and regulatory changes.
Key Performance Indicators:
1. Timeliness and accuracy of policy processing.
2. Efficiency in handling client inquiries and requests.
3. Compliance with regulatory standards and internal procedures.

Qualifications/Key Skills Required:
1. Strong understanding of commercial insurance, account management, or customer service roles.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
5. Proficiency in insurance software (Acturis desirable) and Microsoft Office suite.
6. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
7. Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
8. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the insurance industry.
Education/Experience:
1. Relevant experience in commercial insurance, account management, or customer service roles.
2. Familiarity with insurance brokerage operations and procedures is beneficial.
Remuneration Package:
1. Salary negotiable dependent on experience
