We are a strong, vibrant team committed to delivering excellent outcomes for pupils, supported by extensive experience and technical expertise. Our ethos emphasizes engaging lessons and going the extra mile to support all students.
Achievements and Activities
We are proud of our results: Economics is a popular subject at Key Stage 5, and we are oversubscribed at GCSE, making it one of the most sought-after options within the school.
Extra-curricular activities include visits for A level students to the Mini Factory in Oxford. Young Enterprise is offered to Year 12 students as part of our weekly Enrichment afternoon, and the department has a strong record of success at regional levels.
Our Commitment
We are dedicated to raising students' academic and spiritual achievements and look forward to welcoming a colleague who is committed to working hard towards this goal.
Staff Development and Safeguarding
Salesian School has an outstanding record in training and developing middle and senior leaders. Having trained over 30 teachers in the past year, we excel in mentoring and supporting staff development. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. The successful applicant will undergo an enhanced DBS check.
