### Description\n\n \n\n**About the Role \n** \n\nAs part of the Resorts leadership team, it will be your responsibility to\nmanage both your internal teams and external service providers to ensure\nplanned and reactive works are completed to the highest standards. Covering\nall facilities at the resort including all entertainment venues, pools,\nrestaurants, rides, and landscape areas. \n \nThe overall resort is over 300 acres with an annual repairs and maintenence\nbudget of c£3m.
\n \n\nThis role requires co-ordination and control to deliver a prompt, efficient\nand high-quality service. Ensuring the resort complies with all current\nstatutory legislations, whilst actively looking to implement processes \nprocedures to help make improvements where necessary. \n \n\nYou should be a real advocate for your team’s fulfilment at work, ensuring\nthat you are having regular 121s and PDP discussions to support their\ndevelopment and career with Butlin’s.
You will manage your budget closely,\ndriving your team to deliver KPIs based on sales and costs in line with our\nbusiness plan and reviewing this regularly to identify areas of opportunity\nand risk. This will also involve working closely with our Operational Teams to\nproject guest demand and team requirements accordingly. \n \nAs with all roles at Butlin’s, no day will be the same and you will need to\nenjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest\nexperience is always your number one priority.\n\n \n\n### About You\n\n \n\n \nWe are looking for an experienced Head of Facilities or Senior Facilities\nManager with an excellent operational knowledge in hard facilities management\nacross a range of specialisms.
Credible background in a similar M\ninfrastructure environment leading large teams that can deal with the day to\nday running of a busy resort.\n\n \nYou should have the ability to lead, motivate and engage your team, even at\nperiods of high demand. You will also have the ability to manage multiple\npriorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements. With a mixture of\npermanent team and contractors its all about delivering excellent standards.\n\n \nWith strong leadership skills, you should be confident in inspiring your team\nto deliver amazing results for our teams and guests every day.
