Description
Launch your finance career with our exciting Apprentice Finance Administrator opportunity! This apprenticeship program leads to an AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting. You'll play a vital role in our Finance team, communicating effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure the smooth and timely processing of invoices, payments, and approvals. Your meticulous approach to document management will be key to the accurate handling of financial transactions.
Responsibilities:
* Managing the purchase ledger in our accounting system, including entering invoices and ensuring proper authorisation.
* Resolving supplier queries and liaising with people outside of finance.
* Ensuring all invoices are correctly recorded and filed.
* Reconciling supplier accounts to ensure balances match with external systems.
* Setting up new suppliers in the accounting system, including checks on their contact and banking details.
* Assisting in managing the finance email inboxes.

While no prior experience is necessary, a willingness to learn and ask questions is essential. Essentials:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
* Proficiency in working with numbers and calculations, coupled with a genuine interest in finance and business.
* Enthusiastic, driven, and eager to learn.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* 5 x GCSEs – Grade 4 or above (a higher qualification in Maths would be desirable).
