Warehouse Operative AM - Inbound Checker
Mediq UK are opening our brand new site in Castle Donington and are now recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our AM shift on inbound checking.
In this role you will be required to check all inbound deliveries.
Responsibilities:
* Discharge duties in a safe manner in accordance with relevant methodical approach to work.
* Checking all inbound deliveries.
* Work at a pace that matches the legislation and Mediq EHS policies.
* Use all equipment provided in accordance with safe working practices.
* Pick goods accurately and build pallets in a way that protects personal safety, the safety of the driver in transit and when delivering, and ensures the integrity of the product.
* Assist in loading vehicles, working with the driver to ensure compliance with all legal requirements on vehicle loading.
* Assist in stock checking routines as requested.
* Demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail, thoroughness and a methodical approach to work.
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Share information and resources with others as required.
* Willingness to work extra hours or help out in areas outside of role.
* Use initiative to ensure tasks are completed.
* Ensure the warehouse and yard are kept clean and tidy at all times.
What are we looking for?
This role of Warehouse Operative on our AM Shift would be great if you have previous warehousing experience and hold a FLT / VNA / PPT license; however, we are open to candidates who have no previous experience and full training will be given.
