The role is available as a Senior Engineer for a candidate with good experience in the field.
1. Be responsible for Multiphysics modelling of Sodium Ion cells, including electrochemical, mechanical, thermal and electrical behaviour.
2. Predict performance and degradation of cells prior to build and long term testing.
3. Develop validation strategies to show the effectiveness of our models.
4. Provide feedback and guidance to the cell design and development team to optimise cell performance as part of each cell iteration.
5. Work closely with the cell development team to ensure the correct tests are performed on cells to obtain accurate cell parameters and validation sets.
6. Document and present results, with conclusions and recommendations.
7. Travel within the UK and internationally occasionally.
