Become a key player within the Supply Chain Team for our Precision Engineering Customer.
Permanent vacancy available, with team support and additional learning.
This role would suit persons wishing to forge a career within Supply Chain or Manufacturing Administration.
The main purpose of this role:
1. Booking in of sub-contract orders on receipt.
2. Raising and expediting of orders.
3. Communicating information to/from the Supply Chain.
4. Pro-actively review information and support with the necessary actions to ensure departmental KPI's are achieved.
5. Administration.
6. Identifying opportunities for improvement within the department.
7. Carrying out various hands-on operations across all skill sets to support team objectives.
8. Flexibility in working across various functions within the Supply Chain/Procurement Team, and the wider Operations Team as and when required/requested.
To be considered for this role:
1. Applicants should have good communication skills.
2. Good time management and organisational skills.
3. Diligent.
4. English Language and Maths to GCSE grade C or above.
5. Computer Literate.
6. Dependable, responsible contributor who's committed to excellence and success.
7. Good interpersonal skills (team-worker).
8. Prepared to follow procedures.
9. Eye for detail.
10. Target oriented.
Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4pm.
Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm.
