Key Responsibilities: · Prepare induction packs for new employees · Conduct employment reference checks and verify right to work and driving licences · Answer employee queries or escalate to the HR Manager when required · Employee benefit administration · Update the Organisation Chart on a monthly basis · Set up employees on the HR System (BrightHR) · Generate reports as required · Arrange Occupational Health appointments · Monitor sickness absence and send appropriate letters · Ensure probations reviews and appraisals are carried out · Handle highly confidential information in an honest and trustworthy manner · Take notes during disciplinary, grievance, absence and dismissal meetings · Arrange leavers interviews · Assist with employee survey · Respond to employee reference requests · Provide support to the HR Manager as required Experience and qualifications · At least twelve months HR Administration experience · Experience of working in a busy office environment in an administrative role · CIPD level 3 qualification is desirable or willing to complete Skills · Excellent communication skills · Be enthusiastic, dependable and discreet · Have good organisational skills and attention to detail · Be able to multitask · Experience of using a HR System · Proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
