Geography Teacher
Location: Bradford
Salary: Paid to scale if qualified - PAYE
Start Date: Easter or September 2025
Protocol Education is working alongside a Bradford-based school during an exciting growth period to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Geography. The school welcomes both full-time and part-time applicants, including ECTs and Subject Specialists.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic Humanities team committed to ensuring all staff and students fulfill their potential and continue to enjoy success. The school has invested significant time in developing its curriculum and has a high number of students who continue to take the subject through to KS5.
The school offers a range of enrichment opportunities for students, and the successful candidate will work alongside two experienced Geography colleagues. The school has a successful ECT support program, and the successful candidate will be expected to teach some periods outside of Geography.
Job Responsibilities
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students (Unqualified Teachers are not expected to plan).
2. Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
3. Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance learning.
4. Establish a positive and supportive learning environment.
5. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and student support.
The school is advertising for the role to begin in September 2025; however, this could be brought forward for the right application. We also work with all Secondary Schools in the West Yorkshire area, so there is never a shortage of work to fill the gap between now and September 2025 if you cannot start until then, so please do still apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
