We're looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor for an Assistant Technical Manager position for a large real estate owner, manager and developer with offices in the West Midlands. You will be responsible for supporting the Asset Management of a substantial portfolio spanning the uk, working within their in house technical team.
The successful candidate will be working closely with consultants, solicitors and clients in the co-ordination of licenses, the successful delivery of refurbishment projects, supporting with the production of budges and forecasts, maintaining technical asset documentation and co-ordinating inspections. The role will also require you to inspect, assess and feedback to the technical team on the condition of assets and assist or lead on addressing works that may arise from this.
This role does require you to be an experienced, ideally chartered, Building Surveyor with a good degree of commercial awareness. A good understanding of dilapidations and licensed works is also an advantage. The ideal candidate will be self motivated and have the ability to work autonomously whilst being able to understand and deliver on business needs and objectives.
