This is a fixed term post until end June 2025 with various hours available. Main duties of the job The post holder will provide a high standard of information and support to Children and their families in a range of settings (home, communities, Family Hubs and clinics etc.) The post holder, following appropriate training will work with appropriate supervision and to undertake a range of tasks including promoting and supporting breastfeeding, supporting emotional health, parenting, home learning, supporting child development and speech and language. The Family Peer Supporter role is an integral part of our 0-19 (25) Family Health Service delivery across Sunderland, and will work in partnership through the Family Hubs in Sunderland.
