JOB PURPOSE
As a Coffee Partner, you will play a key role in driving coffee quality and sales through close collaboration with our Bakery and Operations teams.
You will work with other members of the wider Coffee Team to drive impact, quality and grow sales through data insights, our rigorous quality assurance programme and tailored site-support. You will develop and promote a culture of Bakery ownership of quality standards, ensuring a strong coffee culture is embedded throughout the business, ultimately driving sales growth.
You draw on your knowledge and expertise of the wider business to continually improve and develop how we scale the craft of coffee. You engage and support our teams through leading by example and inspiring others to excel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Fostering a strong Coffee Culture to support strong Coffee Operations (People):
* Inspire and influence teams to embed coffee culture into their everyday operations, supporting our mission to scale the craft of coffee.
* Engage and support our teams through leading by example and inspiring others to excel, ultimately driving sales and profitability across all Bakeries.
* Support the evolution of our coffee operations through developing commercial and operational expertise in our Bakeries.
* Supporting the delivery and embedding our departmental tactical plan across a wide variety of activities, from delivering on-site coaching to support equipment installations to working and collaborating on internal and external coffee events
* Act as an ambassador of coffee culture, engaging internal teams in our mission to define specialty coffee at scale in the UK. Driving retention and attracting the right talent.
* Act as a thought leader within the coffee community, sharing insights from the wider industry to continuously enhance our approach.
Driving Sales Growth through Quality Assurance (Product):
* Deepen engagement with quality and link to commercial value in our Bakery Teams, stretching mindsets and engagement with the craft of coffee. Support our Bakeries and Ops Manager by using data-driven insights to identify and implement impactful changes that support growth and excellence.
* Implement and embed our robust processes, standards and tools that evolve with the business needs, ensuring consistent coffee quality of product and service across all bakeries to drive LFL sales and brand trust as we scale.
* Monitoring and enhancing coffee consistency and quality, from product quality to customer experience.
* Create a successful coffee quality feedback loop, working collaboratively with Operations Team, Coffee Team, and other key departments to foster problem solving, planning and follow through.
Driving Profitability through Operational Excellence (Product | Customer)
* Ensuring robust day-to-day operations across all Bakeries to meet business goals.
* Translate commercial goals into actionable plans for bakery teams, embedding behaviors that drive success and improve customer satisfaction, including Coffee Efficiency.
* Collaborate with Operations teams to ensure robust systems and processes are in place, enabling bakeries to deliver exceptional coffee product and service consistently
* Monitor and support operational performance of bakeries through continuous improvement of waste.
* Enhancing quality and customer experience through driving sales and profitability – tracking performance, identifying opportunities, and embedding change that contributes to the overall business performance.
New Bakery Openings & Expansion (Place):
* Lead coffee success at Bakery Openings, encouraging high quality execution of our product and customer experience while facilitating implementation of our ways of working
