Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with colleagues at all levels to join our team as an Information Analyst based within our Centralised Printing Team at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. At Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board we currently send out 1.3m paper letters to our patients to inform them of their upcoming appointments. Patients are then reminded of their appointment 7 days and again 48 hours beforehand by SMS text message. The Information Department is embarking upon an exciting programme of work around digital communications where we are aiming to transform the way patients can receive their appointment correspondence digitally, with the aim to improve patient experience. We are seeking an enthusiastic professional who enjoys working with engaged leadership at all levels to join our team. There will be an expectation of remote cross cover working with other colleagues. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. Main duties of the job The post holder will be part of a team based on site at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, whose focus is on continuing the roll out of the existing patient letter service across the organisation and supporting with the implementation of new services. There will be a requirement to regularly visit the Centralised Printing Hub team to support with various tasks. The post holder s will have significant autonomy to act and be expected to develop plans that can help drive change throughout the organisation, working across departmental boundaries to positively influence change. Experience of being part of a team that delivers innovative, forward thinking solutions would be an advantage. The successful candidate will have the ability to research and understand new technology and share this knowledge to enable colleagues and end users to comprehend the concepts and use the products. It would be desirable for the post holders to have experience of working with a programming language, eg Visual Basic, Python. We are looking for people who are motivated to make a difference to patient care. The successful candidates will need to have a mathematical, logical/analytical and investigative brain, with experience of being able to use their initiative to troubleshoot technical issues for service users and get to the root of any concerns. Attention to detail is key. A flexible and adaptable approach is essential to meet the service needs.
