Role Responsibility:
The Internal Communication Executive will oversee, create, and implement impactful communication within the business, ensuring clear, consistent, and engaging messaging for both employees and clients. This role will also involve managing the company’s external social media platforms and supporting the planning and execution of employee and client events.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Communication
o Work with stakeholders across the business to build comms plans, produce content and measure impact for companywide communications and initiatives.
o Develop, plan and deliver engaging internal communications through various channels, including monthly newsletters, bulletins, and presentations, ensuring employees are well informed about business goals, initiatives, and updates.
o Collect employee feedback using surveys and other tools to assess engagement, evaluate the effectiveness of communications, and address any identified gaps.
o Oversee the internal communication response to customer care issues by ensuring all complaints are acknowledged, thoroughly investigated, and addressed appropriately.
o Equip and support leaders and managers with the tools and resources they need to communicate effectively.
o Plan and deliver employee engagement campaigns, including social events, and recognition programs.
o Create, curate, and manage engaging content across social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook).
o Manage day-to-day social media activity, ensuring posts are aligned with brand guidelines and best practices.
o Monitor social media channels for emerging trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities, responding promptly and professionally to maintain a positive company image.
o Supporting the company with Social Value reporting for large contracts.
2. Events
o Create, implement and deliver project plans for company events that align with business objectives, including Business Engagement Days, Client Entertainment, and National Events.
o Oversee company sponsorships for both employees and clients.
o Collaborate with sales and operational management teams to gain insights into client entertainment.
o Plan and manage client-focused events, ensuring exceptional hospitality and meticulous attention to detail.
o Lead the development and management of employee engagement activities, including social events, annual celebrations and recognition programs.
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in internal communications or a similar role (2 years minimum).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in using digital communication tools.
* Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or video editing).
* Strong project management and organisational skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
* Proven experience managing multiple social media platforms and internal communication channels.
